Little Amal, an international public art and human rights project is coming to Philadelphia as part of Amal Walks Across America.  Little Amal is a 12 ft puppet representing a 10 yr. old Syrian refugee girl made by Handspring Puppet Co. (War Horse). She has traveled the world as an international symbol of human rights and shining a light on the crisis of refugees. www.walkwithamal.org

Beginning at Columbus Square Park and traveling to The Singing Fountain at Tasker and Passyunk Avenue, Little Amal thinks she may have found a clue towards a new home. With music and wonder, Amal walks through the streets of South Philadelphia, finding dangers and delights along the way.
