Joe Canuso (Lenny)  has appeared as an actor in Theatre Exile’s productions of the dreamer examines his pillow, Parking, Rocketman, Princess Ivona, Bug and American Buffalo. In 2007, he performed in Mud for Wandering Rom Players, directed by Brenna Geffers, and played Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night for Teatro delle Due in Italy directed by John Bellomo. Joe serves as the Producing Artisitc director of Theatre Exile and has directed many of Theatre Exile’s shows including Blackbird, Mr. Marmalade, Red Light Winter, Full Figured/Loves to Dance, The Philly Fan, Last Call, The Gin Game, Cryptome, Burkie, Amputation Nation, Big Blonde, Live at the Apollo Diner, The Frankenharry Plays, and Belmont Avenue Social Club. He was nominated by the Barrymore Awards for Outstanding Direction of a Play for Killer Joe and was part of the Barrymore Award winning ensemble of Glengarry Glen Ross.
 
Pete Pryor (Mickey)  is happy to be back in Exile. Last season, he was proud to be part of this company’s American Buffalo. The co-founder of 1812 Productions, he is also the recipient of three Barrymore Awards; Road (Wilma Theater) Richard III (Lantern Theater Company) and most recently for Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Cinderella, People’s Light and Theatre). Next up is Falstaff for the Lantern’s production of Henry IV Part I and a Lunt Fontaine Fellowship in July. Pete is the artist in residence at the Pathway School.
 
Catharine K. Slusar (Risa)  was last seen as Christina in Cabinet of Wonders with Gas and Electric Arts. Before that she was in Norway, performing The European Lesson with the Jo Stromgren Kompani. She often creates multiple characters in a play: Mrs. Meany and Mitzy Lish in Owen Meany, all 24 characters in The Syringa Tree (both at The Arden) and the 15 characters in Lebensraum (InterAct). Other favorites include Tamara in Taking Sides (Act II), Gloria in Missing Link (InterAct) and Mrs. Linde in A Doll's House (Lantern). She's performed on many Philadelphia and National stages winning a Barrymore Award, the Haas Award for an Emerging Artist, and an Independence Fellowship which took her to France and Russia. She's a graduate of Yale and teaches acting at Bryn Mawr College.
 
Geneviève Perrier (Sarah)  is ecstatic to be making her Exile debut. She has worked for Act II Playhouse, Arden, Azuka, Headlong Dance Theater, The Lantern, Mum Puppettheatre, Philadelphia Children’s Theater, and Pig Iron. She received the 2008 Barrymore for Leading Actress for her work in Skylight and was nominated that same year for Supporting Actress for her work in The Lonesome West. She is currently studying her MFA at Temple University in performance with an emphasis on higher education. She can be seen in Exile's next show Shining City and this summer as part of Temple’s first summer repertory company, where she will be performing in The Three Sisters and You Can’t Take It With You.

Harriet Power - Director  Associate Artistic Director of Act II Playhouse, is honored and delighted to team up with Bruce Graham, Theatre Exile, and this brilliant cast and creative team. She has devoted much of her professional directing and dramaturgy career to play development, working with new plays and playwrights at New Dramatists (New York), PlayPenn, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, West Coast Playwrights, Iowa Playwrights Festival, and the International Women Playwrights Festival. Recently, she directed Act II’s sold-out season-opening hit Boeing-Boeing, followed by her 18th production for Villanova Theatre, Shakespeare’s As You Like It. At Act II, she has directed James Still’s Iron Kisses, the world premiere of Jeff Baron’s Brothers-in-Law, and the Barrymore-nominated Syncopation. Other recent directing: Michael Hollinger’s Ghost-Writer for PlayPenn, Jen Child’s newest one-woman show, Why I’m Scared of Dance, performed at Philadelphia Theatre Company; two world premieres at InterAct Theatre, both by Seth Rozin - Reinventing Eden and Missing Link (Barrymore nomination, Outstanding New Play); Measure for Measure (Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival; Barrymore nomination, Outstanding Direction of a Play); Michael Hollinger and Vance Lemkuhl’s A Wonderful Noise (New Dramatists); Donald Margulies’ Dinner With Friends in Rome, Italy at Teatro L'Arciliuto, coproduced by The English Theatre of Rome and the American Embassy (winner of “Best of Rome” citation in Trova Roma). From 1995-1998, as Artistic Director of Venture Theatre, Philadelphia's professional culturally diverse theatre, Power produced two world premieres and directed A Moon for the Misbegotten (Barrymore nomination, Outstanding Direction), Fires in the Mirror, and Mad Forest (Best Director, Philadelphia Inquirer). Power is a Professor of Theatre at Villanova University, where she teaches directing and acting, and received the 1997 Barrymore award for Outstanding Direction of a Play with James J. Christy for Angels in America: Perestroika. She is honored to serve on the selection committee for the F. Otto Haas Award for an Emerging Artist.
 
Bruce Graham - Playwright  PLAYS: Burkie, Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar & Grille, Moon Over the Brewery, Minor Demons, Belmont Avenue Social Club, The Champagne Charlie Stakes, Desperate Affection, Coyote on a Fence (Winner of The Rosenthal Prize, Two Drama Desk Nominations – the West End production starred Ben Cross) According to Goldman, Dex and Julie Sittin’ in a Tree. His one man show, The Philly Fan, plays semi-continuously throughout the Philadelphia area and the recent production of Something Intangible won seven Barrymore Awards including Best New Play and has been nominated for the Steinberg New Play Award. FILM CREDITS: Dunston Checks In, Anastasia, Steal This Movie. T.V. MOVIES: Hunt for the Unicorn Killer, The Christmas Secret, Ring of Endless Light (Humanitas Award Winner – Best Children’s Screenplay) Right on Track, Tiger Cruise, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. TELEVISION: Roseanne, Leg Work and various soap operas. Graham has received grants from the Pew Foundation, the Princess Grace Foundation (Statuette Award Winner) the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative, and the Edgerton Foundation. Along with Michele Volansky he is the author of the book, The Collaborative Playwright. Graham is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He teaches film and theatre courses at Drexel University and lives in Philadelphia with Stephanie, Kendall and Truman-the-beagle.
